Henny Ltd was appointed to carry out essential civil engineering, infrastructure enhancements, and specialist brickwork at Thames Tideway – GREPS (Greenwich Pumping Station).

The works comprised major groundworks, surface access improvements, and structural wall installations, operating alongside critical Network Rail assets in Greenwich, London.

Commercial Civil Engineering & Access Works

Precast Retaining Walls: Installed precast concrete retaining walls set upon substantial concrete foundations to provide structural ground stabilisation.
Drainage Systems: Designed and installed comprehensive rainwater drainage infrastructure to ensure effective surface water management across the site.
Roads & Pathways: Constructed a new tarmac access road to accommodate operational traffic, paired with a dedicated tarmac cycle path to improve site connectivity.
Hard Landscaping & Permeable Paving: Laid concrete kerbing alongside heavy-duty Truck Pave systems designed to withstand heavy vehicle movements while maintaining efficient water runoff.

Boundary & Structural Walls: Erected a new Network Rail boundary wall built to strict rail safety and engineering specifications.

Dedicated Concrete Access Road & Storm Drains: Constructed a heavy-duty Network Rail concrete access road integrated with custom storm drainage networks.

Brick Arch Façade Restoration: Installed a handcrafted brick façade to the Network Rail arches, preserving the architectural integrity of the railway structure while enhancing durability.
