Situated on Forbury Street in the heart of Reading’s central business district, the Apex Plaza is an imposing seven-storey building providing extensive commercial office space and a home for many leading blue-chip businesses in the Thames Valley. The building features an impressive, glazed atrium with a large, open communal meeting space at ground level.
Rail links to Heathrow and Central London are easily accessible from Reading train station which is just a minutes’ walk away via a private link bridge.
Henny Ltd were engaged by global construction services company ISG to undertake the renewal and replacement of external paving and landscaping works at the Apex Plaza.
The initial works required the removal and disposal of the existing paving, followed by the supply and installation of approximately 600 square metres of new paving finishes. Associated work also included the renewal of steps, handrails, lighting bollards and street furniture.
As the project progressed, Henny Ltd were invited to complete further works including internal screeding and tiling to the Western Entrance and toilet areas.
